What are Green Tea Extract Tablets?
Green tea extract powder is extracted from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis bush. It is processed through a unique extraction to preserve the ingredients and minimise oxidisation as much as possible. Green tea is a key source of polyphenols, this is because the Camellia Sinensis tea bush has the highest levels available. Polyphenols are also found in fruits such as grapes, blueberries and pomegranates. Black, green and oolong tea are produced from the Camellia Sinensis using different extract methods. Green tea contains higher amounts of polyphenols than black tea because of the difference in extraction processes.
Our Green Tea tablets offer a 20:1 ratio which means 50mg is the equivalent to 1000mg of green tea leaf.
