What are Organic Pumpkin Seeds?

Peak Supps Organic Pumpkin Seeds are oval shaped seeds encased in green shells. They are harvested from the pumpkin plant (Cucurbita Pepo) and have a nutty & fresh flavour with a crisp texture.

Pumpkin Seeds are naturally rich in antioxidants which can help fight free radicals and play a role in protecting DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative stress. They are typically a rich source of essential fats, vitamins and minerals including Magnesium & Zinc.

Roasted Pumpkin Seed Recipe:

Ingredient: 1½ cups of Organic Pumpkin Seeds, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons olive oil (or oil alternative), 2 teaspoons spice of choice.

Method: Preheat oven at 350°F/177°C/Gas Mark 4 & line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill a saucepan with 2 cups of water, season with salt & bring to a boil. Add the Organic Pumpkin Seeds & simmer for 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry, lay the seeds in the baking tray and coat with the oil & spice. Bake for 10-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
