Our Curcumin with Black Pepper Extract Capsules are made using curcumin extracted from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa, more commonly known as turmeric. Curcumin is the principal bioactive curcuminoid naturally found in turmeric, and concentrated curcumin extracts provide a much higher level of curcuminoids than turmeric root powder.

Each capsule provides 500mg of curcumin extract, standardised to 95% curcuminoids. This concentrated extract contains the three naturally occurring curcuminoids found in turmeric: Curcumin, Demethoxycurcumin and Bisdemethoxycurcumin.

To complement the formula, we've added black pepper extract, a natural source of piperine, which is commonly used to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of curcumin.

Curcumin's distinctive golden-yellow colour comes from its naturally occurring curcuminoids, making it one of the most recognisable botanical compounds derived from turmeric.
