This remarkable ‘superfood’ is an excellent protein source embodying essential amino acids. Hemp seeds are an optimum source for fatty acids including omega 3-6-9 and vital minerals. The two main proteins in hemp seeds are edestin and albumin. These high quality storage proteins are easily digested and contain nutritionally significant amounts of amino acids.
Our hemp protein is sourced from raw hemp seeds which are selected for the finest quality and then pressed at 43ᵒ C to separate the hemp oil from the solids to form a paste. Once the paste has dried into cake, it is stone ground to hemp powder. The hemp powder is sifted to reduce fibre content whilst preserving the high proportion of protein.
Peak Supps hemp protein has around 50% protein content and 23% fibre, this is considerably high for a natural food source. Hemp seeds are naturally high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals such as Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium and Iron. Hemp oil is also rich in good fatty acids such as Omega 3,6 and 9. Nutrients are beneficial to good health and support several body functions. Hemp protein is a versatile all-round health shake. Hemp protein is easily absorbed and digested.
Hemp protein is suitable for everyone looking for a healthier protein choice. It is low in fats, sugars and has zero salt content. Due to its versatile nature, hemp is a great addition to shakes, smoothies, yogurts or baking preparations. Hemp has been associated with a ‘nutty’ taste. If looking to reduce flour content in baking, hemp can be substituted as a 25% hemp to 75% flour ratio.
As a food, we recommend adding 30g of powder to your preferred amount of water, milk, smoothie or juice. Shake well and consume.
Use less liquid for a thicker and stronger tasting shake. We recommend 2-3 servings daily or as required to increase protein consumption.

Protein Pancakes Recipe:
Ingredients: 2½ tablespoons Hemp Protein Powder, 1 tablespoon cacao powder, 1 extra large banana, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 3 tablespoon oats, 2 tablespoons milk (of your choice), Oil (for frying).
Method: Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl to make a batter. Heat oil in a frying pan. When warm, spread small circles of batter into the pan. Wait for the pancakes to go firm before flipping. Once cooked, add toppings of your choice and enjoy.
