What are Mung Beans?
Peak Supps Mung Beans are small round shaped beans of the plant Vigna Radiata. They are green in colour and have a typical bean flavour. They contain antioxidants which can help fight free radicals and play a role in protecting DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative stress.
Our Mung Beans provide 10g of fibre per 100g, this makes them ideal for vegans and vegetarians who are looking to increase their fibre intake. They are also high in protein. Mung Beans are available fresh, dried or as sprouts and can be used in curries, salads and stews.
