Linseeds, also referred to as flaxseeds, are small, flat seeds that are pointed at one end. They have a mild nutty flavour and are crisp in texture. They can be easily added to a variety of recipes. Our Organic Golden Linseeds can be eaten as a snack, added to trail mix or sprinkled over oats. They can also be ground up to mix into smoothies or soups.
Peak Supps Organic Golden Linseeds are a great source of fibre and vegan protein, each 10g serving provides 2.7g of fibre. When ground, Linseeds are also used as a dietary supplement as they are naturally high in Omega 3 fatty acids.
Linseeds are available as brown & golden linseeds. They are very similar; however, golden linseeds have more polyunsaturated fatty acids when compared to brown linseed. Typically, they also contain higher levels of the essential fats alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid.
Peak Supps Organic Golden Linseeds are suitable for those looking for a high-quality food to add to their diet. They are suitable for the general public and athletes.
If you’re currently taking medication, we would recommend checking with a doctor or medical professional before adding this to your diet.
As a food, we recommend taking 10g daily.
Can be eaten as a snack or ground to be added to smoothies.
