What is Organic Guarana?
Harvested from the Amazon in Brazil, Guarana is rich in antioxidants which can help fight free radicals and play a role in protecting DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative stress. The Guarana seeds are extracted by hand, cleaned in natural water and dried. They are then ground into a powder to preserve their nutritional value.
Each 5g serving provides 150mg of caffeine. Caffeine works by inhibiting the effects of adenosine which is responsible for inducing sleep. Adenosine has a relaxing effect on the body which is blocked by caffeine leaving you more physically and mentally alert. Ingredients:1 tsp Organic Guarana Powder, 1tsp Organic Coconut Sugar, 1 lemon, ice cubes.
Method: Add 250ml of hot water to the Organic Guarana Powder and let it steep for 8-10 minutes. Once cooled, add the Organic Coconut Sugar and the juice of one lemon. Add ice cubes and enjoy.
