Cardamom & Coconut Protein Bites
These cardamom and coconut energy balls are a unique mix of sweet and savory. Whether used in an Indian curry or a Scandinavian pastry, cardamom is an intense, slightly sweet spice that instantly brings warmth and sweetness to any recipe.
Our cardamom & coconut protein bites are ideal for adding extra protein to your diet and a convenient healthy snack. You can enjoy them when your on-the-go or as an end-of-the day dessert, they go perfectly with a warm herbal tea.
On the inside:
We have a combination of spices, high in protein foods and a good range of carbs and fruit. The gooey inside is from the dates that are high in several nutrients, fiber and antioxidants. The protein bites have a high protein value from the almonds and vanilla flavoured protein powder, both give subtle and great taste to the energy balls.
On the outside:
We have coated the protein bites with coconut flakes. Covering the energy balls with coconut flakes adds a firm texture and delicious taste.
Ingredients from Peak Supps®

The rest of the ingredients can be found in your local super market.
- 2 dl almonds
- 1 dl instant oats
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 6-8 dates
- 1.5 tbs coconut oil
- 1 tbs water
- 1.5 tsp cardamom
- 0.5 salt
- In a blender, blend the almonds into flour
- Add the remaining ingredients, and mix to a smooth batter
- Add a splash of water
- Mix until the consistency becomes glossy
- Roll into balls, then roll over the coconut flakes
- Put in the fridge or freezer
