Hello, and welcome to the team! Can you tell us about yourself and how you found your love for fitness?

Hello! I'm Mia, I found my love for fitness when I was around 5 and started gymnastics! After that, I always was in and out of different sports such as; dance and boxing! I found my love for the gym in lockdown 1 as my dad put together his own little home gym and ever since then I’ve loved it!

Workouts

What's your favourite workout?

My favourite workout would definitely be legs (of course) and my fave movement would be Romanian deadlifts!!

What does your weekly workout schedule look like?

I typically work out 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) as I work in hospitality so work long hours over the weekend.

We all have one... What's your most hated exercise?

I HATE anything to do with chest!

What are your current fitness goals?

I'm currently working towards being my strongest and healthiest self... I want to feel and look strong!

What workouts have you found work best for you or found don't work for you?

I've found that Bulgarian split squats I feel don't work for me at all, and again RDL'S I can definitely feel!

Nutrition

Can you talk us through what it looks like to eat like Mia for a day? Do you commit to a special diet or calorie count?

I don't calorie count as I find it very toxic, especially as my knowledge isn't as good as it could be in that area. However, I'm currently looking for a nutrition coach!

Do you have any healthy alternative snacks you can share with us?

I LOVE rice cakes as a low-calorie snack, they are so yummy too. Salted caramel is my fave.

What supplements do you use? And what is your favourite Peak Supps product?

I take Creatine, Whey Protein and BCAAS! But my favourite Peak Supps product has got to be the Butterscotch Whey😍

What is your secret to motivating yourself to work out?

The secret is to not rely on motivation... you remind yourself why you started and stay consistent!

Who inspires you the most?

My little sister who unfortunately didn't get a chance at life! I live for her every day.

Do you have any tips on how to keep pushing on your off days?

Watch other people! Follow inspirational pages, this always works for me!

And finally, what's the one bit of advice you would give to anyone looking to start their fitness journey?

Just do it, it will be the best thing you ever did. Mentally, physically and spiritually.
