What is Alpha Lipoic Acid?

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a mitochondrial fatty acid that is found naturally in every cell within the body. It is a Vitamin like compound that is highly involved with energy metabolism. Alpha Lipoic Acid is commonly referred to as ALA.
