Our Favourite Matcha Latte Recipe
The matcha craze has been riding through for a few years now, and we're not mad about it!
Through trial and error, here is our favourite matcha recipe, along with our top added ingredients for extra goodness...
OUR MATCHA RECIPE
- 1/2 teaspoon of matcha
- 450ml of your milk of choice
- 1 to 2 tbsp of honey/organic coconut sugar
HOW WE LIKE TO MAKE IT
- First things first, add about 1/2 of matcha with a splash of hot water
- Next, whisk your matcha into the hot water until it becomes a liquid mixture; we like to use either an electric whisk or a bamboo whisk.
- Add about 450 ml of milk to the hob to heat it up & electric whisk to froth, or use a milk frother.
- Finally, add your matcha mixture into your mug along with your milk and enjoy!
