Healthy Ice Lollies
The British summer has landed. We're not doing our normal summer traditions and events this year, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy this summer more than any other!
Put your punting up, go for a picnic, set up the barbecue, visit the seaside, and appreciate the little things.
To help you cool down on those hot days, we've put together some fab and fun ice-lolly recipes you can enjoy and make with family and friends.
To make these you'll need to get some ice lolly moulds, you can pick them up in most supermarkets or Amazon.
#1 iBCAA Ice Lollies
Up first is our iBCAA lollies they are so simple and perfect for the summer heat. They help keep you hydrated whilst providing you with extra iBCAA's. You can also do this with our EAAS.
- Add 4 scoops of Fruit punch, Tropical or Blue Raspberry iBCAA powder to a 600ml protein shaker, fill it with water and give it a shake.
- Pour the iBCAAs into the lolly-pop moulds and freeze.
- For a stronger taste add more iBCAA.
If you have unflavored iBCAAs, or EAAs you can add some of your preferred squash or flavouring to the water before freezing.
#2 WaterMelon and Peach Immunity Ice Lollies
Warning - These are mouthwatering! We've been experimenting with our new Immunity Watermelon Blend it's our most impressive product yet, packed with vitamins and mineral and has 82 European Health & nutrition approved claims, so obviously we had to make ice lollies with it!
- Add 2 scoops of watermelon immunity blend powder to a 600ml protein shaker, fill it with water and shake.
- Pour the immunity blend 3/4 full into the ice lolly moulds.
- Add 2 slices of tinned peaches into each mould.
- Freeze and enjoy!
If you have the unflavoured immunity blend, again add your own flavouring or add more fruits to the moulds.
#3 Yogurt and Protein Berry Smoothie
This is the perfect snack, more fulfilling than your regular ice lolly, packed with protein, multi-vitamins and is berry-licious! (mind the pun)
- Add a dash of water to our berry flavoured protein and multivitamin smoothie into a 600 ml shaker and give it a shake.
- Crush 2 handfuls of berries (any you have in the fridge) raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and cherries all work well.
- Add the crushed berries to the shaker and give it a stir.
- Top the shaker up with your choice of natural unflavored yogurt or berry flavoured for extra flavour.
- Shake until well mixed and pour into the moulds.
- Freeze and enjoy!
